My mum and I were going to the ice cream shop on a hot summer’s day.

When we got there mum asked me ‘What flavour do you want?’

I really wanted to ask if I could have cookies and cream as well as salted caramel. See? This is the problem when you ask you mum or dad for ice cream! They always make you get the least while they enjoy a triple scoop of chocolate in a cone, but today is the day that I will gather up the courage and ask her.

“Mum, can I have a double scoop?” I asked her, expecting an argument.

“No, only have one” Mum answered. ‘Typical mum’ I thought.

The ice cream lady heard us and gave me a sly smile.

“Ok fine, can I have 1 scoop of salted caramel please?” I asked.

“In a cup” Mum quickly added. I frowned at her. The lady got my ice cream and it was huge!

“If only it was a bit smaller” My mum said for the 5th time in the car. “Ha! No way mum, this is my revenge!”

‘Oh look! There is a farm for me to trash and even better, that farm has a bike! They probably have kids. My kids would love a brand new bike so I should probably get it now. Ok, your most likely thinking that I’m a monster for doing this but I am a dwarf and dwarves always take things that help our children. Its kind of doing the wrong thing for the right reason. Anyways, I’m just going to pop into that hay bale and get that bike. I’m just going to put my foot in this thingy and have my hand go into that. Ok I got it, wait I see a human! Um, goodbye!’

…but when I looked behind me…

One sunny day, when the birds chirped and sang and when the children were out playing and having fun, I sat on my doorstep feeling terribly glum. Then I saw a truck coming by and it threw something out, I didn’t know why. I ran across the road and looked left and right. I turned around and couldn’t see anything in sight, but when I looked behind me I saw a puppy! It looked hurt so I took it with me on that sunny, sunny day. So on that day, I got a puppy so lets say hurray.

‘What was that?’ I thought. I had heard something loud, so I ran over to the river and saw probably about 50-60 cars. At least it was something like that. They were all lined up and as I looked closer I saw my son’s car. I knew what that meant. My son had driven into madness, and had left me. There was no need to walk home and see if he was there. I just had to call him, and so I did. The line kept ringing and ringing until suddenly, the voice message came on. That’s when the truth came to me. He’s dead.

This man is having a bad day.
